Glen Rogers is serving two death sentences for two 1995 murders — Tina Cribbs, fatally stabbed in a Tampa motel room in 1995, and the rape and strangulation of Sanda Gallagher of Van Nuys, Calif. Police said he set fire to Gallagher’s body in her pickup truck after killing her, the first of his five alleged murders from California to Florida in a two-month span. He met both women in bars. Rogers was driving Cribbs’ Ford Festiva when he led police on a 15-mile chase that reached 100 mph before a roadblock by a half-dozen police cruisers forced him off U.S. 52.
